Training course in IVF technology

Participants will know the IVF laboratory, the course covers the principal procedures from oocyte collection, denudation, sperm preparation to embryo transfer, and will look at culture techniques, and embryo selection. In addition, quality control and total quality management. You will have the opportunity to know more theoretical part as written book.

IVF FROM A TO Z

Training course consists of theoretical Component (30 hours); questions on IVF techniques linked to each course module and practical Skills (120 hours); applying the techniques linked to a course module.

PROGRAM TOPICS

Semen analysis preparation, Egg collection and handling, Fertilization and embryo culture, Embryo grading, Embryo transfer, Cryopreservation for embryos and oocytes, Cryopreservation for embryos and oocytes, Embryo biopsy day 3, day 5, Total Quality Management (TQM).

COURSE DESIGN

• Course duration 6 weeks consists of lectures, demonstrations and hands-on practical sessions.
• Maximum participants: 8
• This course is targeted at trainees who have undergraduate or freshly graduated from all science and medical majors which is the minimum requirements

UPON COMPLETION

Candidates who meet the training requirements and successfully complete the course will take the Training Certificate from Zarqa university and affiliated from higher ministry of education in Jordan.
By the end of the training period students should be able (a) to understand the basic knowledge of assisted reproductive technologies (b) to handle the state-of-art IVF equipment, its proper use and maintenance



The official language of the course is English and held every 2 months

The certificate is issued from Zarqa University and recognized by ministry of higher education in Jordan

It covers all the theoretical aspects of IVF laboratory and hands on training in our training lab on all the andrology and embryology techniques, including ICSI and PGD.

FIRST

ANDROLOGY


Sperms: counting, viscosity, pH, mobility, morphology, freezing, thawing, handling, activation and washing.



SECOND

OOCYTE AND EMBRYO


Oocyte: Ovum pick up (mechanical and chemical), handling, freezing, thawing and fertilisation.
Embryo: scoring, handling, grading, freezing, thawing, biopsy and culture.



THIRD

QUALITY MANAGEMENT


Prevent sample mix-up, optimize success rate by avoiding contamination, filtration system and follow known accreditation systems.
